I'm so grateful for Colin's leadership in helping TRU complete its Strategic Internationalization Planning process, a visionary initiative initiated in 2023 to shape TRU’s global strategy for the next decade. Co-chairing a 20-member cross campus Strategic Internationalization Plan Advisory Committee, Colin was always willing to take on any role to help advance the project. Although he did not have the advantage of being on campus on a full time basis, he worked hard to build strategic relationships in order to advance the project, and never looked for recognition or accolades, instead putting the collective good first. His dedication and leadership helped position TRU as a leader in inclusive and impactful internationalization efforts.

 

Colin also took a leadership role in developing innovative strategic partnership with multiple levels of government and institutions in Mexico resulting in equitable and sustainable international cooperation. On behalf of Thompson Rivers University, I express my gratitude to Colin. Thank you Colin!
